passed the last test toward the Certification Program requirements, to get the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Certification this morning! It entailed about 8 months of intense studying, but I was able to do it! Next will be the Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP) Certification.

ES 2008 was awesome. I thought part of it was a car show. There were a lot of cool audio and video products for vehicles and some really cool new HD recording devices and a huge 150" Plasma TV Screen. There were also some really thing LCD TV's. It is amazing to see all the newest technology first hand before it is released for sale to the general public. This is a HUGE show and I am glad it went so nicely.

ES 2008 is coming up January 7 - 10. I will be working on monitoring the networks there and have configured many of the networks for CES. It has been very exciting and I am looking forward to the show going off without a hitch. My girlfriend and I Zalena have been getting along great. Things have been very good and I have recently moved from an apartment to a house. I am still renting but I do hope to by soon. It is getting late and I must get some sleep now though.

he content on my web page has not changed in a while. I don't suppose I have had much to say lately. I have not started my next certification studying yet, but I will be soon. Everything is going very nicely this year. I won a car and have a great woman in my life and a great new job this year.

am officially a CCNA again. I took the test this morning and got 961/1000!!!! I am really excited because I studied so hard for it! That's all I have for now :)

have changed a few things around on my website. I am trying to improve it. I am also studying for the CCNA exam which I will be taking on July 17. I will post on here once I take that exam. I also have some new content I will be adding to this page for CCNA stuff. I would like to integrate new things into this site and we will see how that goes.

     I haven't updated this page in a while because I just don't. I am also in my spare time trying to learn how to do a little video editing. So far I have had no luck with any of the programs I have tried. They all do something weird, lose audio synchronization or lose audio all together. That makes it very difficult.

     In other news, July 4th was this week and I bought a TNT Big Timer® pack of fireworks and lit them all off. They are fountains and sparklers and other things. I have a video of three of them on You Tube. That would be http://www.youtube.com/jerlasvegas.

ell I am feeling sick the past couple days. From Saturday 1/24 to Friday 2/2, I ran 17.73 miles. Then Friday night I felt sick and haven't had any alcohol still, but I feel sick still. I've been doing nothing but sleeping and drinking hot tea with honey. This bites the bullet or something.

     Anyway I am sure I will feel better soon because smoking cigs makes you sick for longer!

ime is flying by this year and so is my staying away from the nasty cigarettes. Next to start going to the gym. That is the hard part :)

     Damn, last 2 years I hit 2 weeks probably about 8 times of no smoking. 3 weeks maybe 4. Who cares though, I am at 2 weeks and I am taking it one step at a time. At least I am posting some content or something for my web page to change. I think I need to do some work on it but people at work are talking about rainbow 6 or something, so I loaded up UT 2004 on my puter for some FPS action.

     Been a while since I have played and I played mostly UT. This is pretty fun but we shall see how long that lasts with me lol. It is fun though. I don't have a lot more to say than enjoy this post with no grammar rules applied to it.

ell I am off to a good start this year. One week down in 2007 and no cigarettes have I smoked. I had a really good week and next week will be another 5 day work week. The first week at this new job was a 5 day work week, but because of Christmas and New Years I had the last two weeks of 4 day work weeks. However, this week of 5 workdays ends on a 3 day weekend because of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so I will have another 4 day work week.

     I could go on but it is pointless. I hope I blog again by then. Don't know much of all this people don't blog no more hype. I posted earlier, about a year ago that I didn't like double negatives. Here I am using them. I reckon I am just as much hypocritical as the next person. Oh well, it don't bother me none I reckon. LOL. Okay enough with this nonsense.

     I have been playing around learning gimp. What is gimp you say? Graphical Image Manipulation Program. I like to think it makes Photoshop cry. I can't back that claim up though. It is free though, and I used it to make the new cube on this page :)

as laid off from my job, but I rebounded in only 2 weeks. Shortly after Thanskgiving, I started smoking. Tonights the last night of the year. I want a New Year Start. Get things off on the right foot.

     Sad to say another mouse died from being underweight probably due to something bad. Sucks. Guess I can't take care of em? I did feed them, give them water, and clean thier cage. Oh well. I am hoping next year is better than this one!!!

t has now been nearly 5 weeks since I had one of those nasty cigs. I am feeling better and moving on with life. I recently bought a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt Supercharged SS. Needless to say, I like it very much. I haven't been doing anything recently except for random drives, watching movies and television along with playing games. Nothing really interesting is happening in my life at the moment so I just go on and do my thing.

     I do have an unfortunate tidbit though. I awoke to a decpaitated mouse the other morning. One mouse apparently attacked another. Perhaps I did not feed them in time. Big ol oops there!!!

     I got two more mice for a total of three and am hoping the older one doesn't kill one of the other two or both. Only time will tell.

     I will tell you that it seems like a whole lot of work to keep an apartment clean and take care of a dog. The dogs just gotta go out so damn much it seems. I know I am lazy, but still, it is a lot of work I say.

have quit for the longest period since my one year quit. This time, I am going the distance. Never again another smoke. I just have no reason to.
